How to Host a Payer Conference

Join Dr. Marcus Nynas to hear firsthand about his experience leading the Montana Chiropractic Association’s (MCA) effort to host a payer conference in August of 2019.  Walking you through this case study, Dr. Nynas will explain the drivers behind the event, how MCA accomplished the project from soup to nuts, and how the content was developed to facilitate a productive conversation between providers and payers. 

Attendees will walk away with tools for creating their own interactive payer forums, as well as critical components of the information to present and educational resources that should be provided to payers in order to ensure a meaningful exchange of ideas for improving patient access to cost-saving care.  This course is targeted towards those in state or regional leadership positions or those who have positions in which they are able to advocate for the cost effective nature of chiropractic care within insurance companies. Based on Dr. Nynas and MCA’s experience, hosting a payer conference offers an opportunity to create a dialogue with payers about the upcoming changes to health insurance plans and how to ensure better coverage for patients.  Attend to gain valuable insights into how this approach can work in your state.
