This presentation by Dr. Jude Miller will highlight the skills needed to work in a collegiate sporting environment. We will discuss clinical skills, the importance of inter & intra professional skills, communication, and more. This is a fast-paced presentation that is sure to engage both new and seasoned clinicians.
Learning Objectives:
• Identify the various opportunities for chiropractic physicians within a sports medicine team and evaluate what structure would be most beneficial for his/her individual practice.
• Identify and the key sports medicine staff and their roles within the sports medicine team
• Recognize your role within the sports medicine team
• Create evidence informed treatment strategies for athletic injuries

Chiropractic Sports Physician
Dr. Jude Miller is a champion of integrative care settings, having practiced in private practice, hospital settings and now as a full-time member of the sports medicine team at the University of Memphis.
He currently cares for all 20 athletic sports programs at the University of Memphis, integrating chiropractic care with many disciplines. Through his faculty position at Logan University, Dr. Miller is responsible for training chiropractic sports medicine residents and supervising clinical internships for chiropractic students.
Dr. Miller is a lifelong learner of many forms of martial arts. He enjoys all things outdoors, including kayaking, hiking, biking and gardening. He is a father to two young sons, Tristan & Noah, and is married to Dr. Holly A. Tucker, a chiropractic acupuncturist. Together they enjoy traveling, often in leadership roles in the chiropractic profession.
