Intro to Evidence-based Clinical Practice: The Good, the Bad and the Biased
The terms evidence-based or evidence-informed have become ubiquitous in modern society. However, there is still a good deal of confusion as to what the terms really mean in health care. This program will go through the what, why and how of evidence-based clinical practice (EBCP).
Among the subjects explored will be the definition of EBCP, hierarchy of evidence, clinical questions, study types and foundations of critical appraisal. You might be thinking this is going to be a very dry presentation, but you will be surprised by how engaging the subject could be.
