MRI Essentials for the Practicing Chiropractor

This course by Dr. Jeffrey Langmaid, DC will give dynamic and interactive direction to the DC on how to incorporate a practical approach to MRI image review with patients to help them better understand their pathology as well as the rationale for chiropractic care and/or referral. Far too many chiropractors rely only on the MRI reports when interpreting the results of advanced imaging. This course is designed to boost the confidence, enhance the knowledge base, and refine the clinical decision making of the chiropractors in attendance.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify the basic elements of a DICOM reader

2. Interpret "live" reading musculoskeletal pathology with a patient

3. Apply this information for better clinical decision making
