Shoulder Tendinopathies

Tendon pain of the supraspinatus and biceps are common conditions seen in the chiropractic clinic. The pathology of tendon pain has changed considerably over the previous two decades, from an inflammatory pathology to an overload pathology. The current model of tendon pain is the continuum model, which states that tendon pain progresses from a reactive tendinopathy to a degenerative tendinopathy with prolonged overload. This webinar by Dr. Michael Braccio will discuss which treatments are most effective for each stage of tendinopathy and also how to progress a rehabilitation for supraspinatus and bicipital tendinopathy from isometric exercises to plyometric exercises.
