This course covers the formation of treatment goals and relates this information to CMS requirements and guides clinicians on how to effectively document treatment goals. Throughout the presentation, participants will see reference to utilizing skills that teach them how to successfully apply their knowledge of tracking measurable progress with patients and establishing measurable treatment goals.

Participants of this course will receive instruction on how to create their own self-audit guides and follow assessment types in line with CMS preferences to ensure quality documentation and patient care.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Develop skills that will assist them in better communicating with patients and other providers.
  • Understand CMS requirements in relation to documenting measurable treatment goals.
  • Create their own procedures to properly self-audit and increase rate of reimbursement for services rendered.
