A Call to Action: Addressing the Opioid Crisis

One of the biggest healthcare crisis the nation has ever seen is the battle against opioid-related deaths. This course will give current statistical data, risk factors, clinical effects of opioids, biochemistry of feel-good chemicals, how the crisis evolved, the path to overdose and topics related to awareness, prevention and treatment. We will cover Integrative Medicine’s role and specifically how Chiropractic can be the thought leader in prevention.
Learning Objectives:

2. Recognize the biochemistry of opioids and addiction
3. Describe the role of Chiropractic as part of the solution team
