This session, Advances in MRI & Interdisciplinary Spine Reporting, explores how emerging technologies and structured communication are transforming diagnostic collaboration across spine care disciplines. Led by Dr. Avery J. Knapp Jr., a board-certified radiologist and fellowship-trained neuroradiologist, the presentation provides chiropractors and pain management physicians with practical insights to improve the way imaging is interpreted, communicated, and documented. Attendees will gain an understanding of the latest developments in MRI—including AI-enhanced visualization, structured reporting formats, and standardized terminology—that help improve diagnostic precision and consistency across care teams. Through real-world spine cases, Dr. Knapp demonstrates how subtle MRI findings can alter treatment decisions and how modern reporting tools bridge the gap between radiology, chiropractic, and interventional pain specialties. The session also highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, showing how radiologists and clinicians can align documentation and communication to support better patient outcomes and stronger medical-legal defensibility. Participants will leave with actionable strategies they can apply immediately to: Recognize key MRI findings relevant to chiropractic and pain management practice. Integrate AI and structured reporting insights into clinical workflows. Communicate imaging results more effectively across the care continuum. Designed to be educational, case-based, and clinically relevant, this session equips attendees with the knowledge to confidently interpret and apply spine MRI findings in daily practice while fostering stronger interdisciplinary collaboration.
