Anatomy of an Insurance Contract

Join Dr. Marcus Nynas as he walks you through the basics of understanding insurance contracts.  Common items such as length of term versus an automatic renewal along with the pluses and minuses of each will be discussed.  In addition,  the terms for payment of a clean claim and the potential for this have important implications for the proposals of medical cost transparency legislation will be examined. Dr. Nynas will illustrate how to find the payment schedules, medical policies, appeals procedures, and other vital information contained in the contract.  He will also share where to find in the contract how to discontinue participating in the plan.
