Evaluation and management CPT codes are utilized when the provider is involved in either evaluating or managing patient health. Proper code usage can assist in reimbursement measures and allow for clinicians to better document their services and accurately report patient health histories. These codes are necessary to identify steps and procedures taken to care for patients. This course provides doctors with information regarding proper E/M coding usage as guided by CMS, following the changes and updates made January 1, 2023.
