Healthcare providers, including chiropractors, may encounter patients whose frustration or distress escalates into aggression. This webinar introduces practical de-escalation strategies to recognize early warning signs, respond effectively, and maintain safety for providers, staff, and patients. Participants will gain tools to manage challenging encounters, develop clinic safety plans, and foster a culture of calm and respect in their practice.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Define workplace violence in healthcare settings and recognize common triggers for patient aggression.
2. Identify early warning signs of escalating behaviors and differentiate between low-level agitation and high-risk aggression.
3. Demonstrate evidence-based de-escalation techniques to reduce tension and promote safety.
4. Apply communication strategies that foster respect, calm, and control during challenging encounters.
5. Develop a personal and team-based safety plan for responding to aggressive incidents in the clinical setting.
6. Locate resources and reporting pathways to ensure follow-up, documentation, and ongoing support after an incident.
