In this engaging live webinar, participants will explore key strategies and interventions for enhancing workplace dynamics, focusing on the value of people as a company's most important resource.

Introduction (First 15 minutes): The session begins with an overview of the fundamental importance of people in any industry. The presenter will introduce essential concepts, including appreciative inquiry, the psychosocial physical model of human intervention, and a comparison of human versus mechanical ergonomics.

Case Studies and Practical Interventions (30 minutes): Participants will dive into real-world examples of intervention programs within workplace environments. The audience will:

  • Hear case studies on successful human intervention programs.
  • Learn about the impact of mechanical interventions in workplace settings.
  • Explore a case study focused on team development through positive psychology, specifically appreciative inquiry.

Strategies for Community Outreach (15 minutes): The final portion of the webinar will offer actionable strategies for reaching out to local businesses. Participants will learn how to apply the discussed intervention programs to support businesses in improving employee well-being. The session's overarching goal is to introduce effective ways to engage with businesses and foster positive workplace environments.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand and Apply Key Theories of Workplace Interventions: Attendees will be able to explain the concepts of appreciative inquiry, the psychosocial physical model of human intervention, and the differences between human and mechanical ergonomics in workplace settings.
  2. Analyze and Implement Practical Workplace Intervention Programs: Attendees will be able to evaluate and apply real-world intervention strategies—both human and mechanical—demonstrated in case studies to improve team development and employee well-being.
  3. Develop Strategies for Business Outreach and Engagement: Attendees will be able to create and utilize actionable outreach plans to engage local businesses, offering intervention programs that address workplace challenges and enhance employee productivity and satisfaction.
