Review of the normal appearance of the immature spinal column from the ages of 12 to 16 as seen with diagnostic imaging

Objectives

  • Attendees should be able to recognize the normal appearance of the developing spinal column.
  • Attendees should be able to distinguish a normal growth center from a normal variant of anatomy or a pathologic process.

Michael Fergus, DC, DACBR, RMSK

Dr. Fergus is a board certified in chiropractic radiology through the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (ACBR). He has been working in the field of diagnostic imaging for two decades. In 2018 he became certified by the Alliance for Physician Certifications & Advancement (APCA) in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasonography. In addition to the years of clinical experience, Dr. Fergus has worked as an educator/lecturer in the field of chiropractic radiology and musculoskeletal sonography.
