COVID-19 has quickly and dramatically altered the healthcare landscape. Many chiropractors are losing the ability to provide hands-on care for their patients. Elective in-office visits are evaporating along with the associated revenue. However, this is not the time for providers or patients to free-fall with a wait-and-see attitude. Chiropractors can continue to deliver valuable services to homebound patients via telehealth. Dr. Tim Bertelsman and Dr. Kevin Sharp will co-present a timely 60-minute webinar on the essentials of telehealth. This webinar will provide a detailed 8-step process for continuing to provide patients with the best possible service in the current environment as well as the coding and documentation requirements for this type of service delivery.

Tim Bertelsman

Dr. Tim Bertelsman graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic with honors and has been practicing in Belleville, IL since 1992. He is a board-certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and a Diplomate of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Dr. Bertelsman has lectured nationally on various clinical and business topics and has been published extensively. He is a post-graduate instructor for the University of Bridgeport Orthopedic Diplomate program and is a member of the NCMIC Speakers’ Bureau. He was selected as the Illinois Chiropractic Society Chiropractor of the Year in 2019. He has served in various leadership positions within the Illinois Chiropractic Society, including President of the executive board. Kevin Sharp

Dr. Sharp has over 30 years of experience as a chiropractic physician and has been a member of the ACA for over 20 years. Dr. Sharp runs a successful practice in Winston Salem, NC (Sharp Chiropractic) and is a recognized expert in the area of coding, documentation and compliance. He previously served as North Carolina Chiropractic Association president and currently serves as a member of the ACA Coding Advisory Board. He has spoken at several ACA conferences and offered training at various state chiropractic events throughout the nation on the topics of coding and documentation.
