The Treatment of Neck Pain-Associated and Whiplash-Associated Disorders: A Clinical Practice Guideline

Join Dr. Andre Bussieres for this webinar that will review neck pain and its treatment.  Neck pain is one of the leading cause of disability wordwide, and the cost of neck pain treatment is rapidly increasing. The objective of the project described in the webinar was to develop a clinical practice guideline on the management of Neck Pain-Associated Disorders (NAD) and Whiplash-Associated Disorders (WAD). To formulate clinical recommendations, members of the Canadian Chiropractic Guideline Initiative (CCGI) considered high quality systematic reviews conducted by Optima and peer-reviewed literature. The project lead will present the key recommendations on the conservative management of NAD and WAD, and discuss their implication for clinical practice. He will also share available tools and resources to help apply these in practice.


Learning Objectives:

-Discuss diagnostic triage and determine appropriate care strategies,

- Review key findings of the Neck Pain Guidelines and their implications for clinical practice

- Identify available resources for staying up to date
