One of the biggest challenges doctors of chiropractic face when seeking employment or employing a chiropractor is finding the right fit and determining success. Our presentation aims to provide both employers and potential employees the tools to aid them in this process to create positive, long-lasting relationships.

Ray Tuck

President and CEO, Tuck Chiropractic Clinic

Dr. Tuck is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences and has practiced in southwest Virginia since graduating in 1997.  As a second-generation chiropractor, he is very passionate about advancing and integrating chiropractic as a part of the healthcare team through quality care delivery and patient satisfaction.  Tuck has served in multiple leadership roles over the years including past president of the Virginia Chiropractic Association, past executive director and board member of the Association for the History of Chiropractic, and on numerous local non-profit boards.  In addition, he has been the recipient of the Blacksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce small business person of the year and the VCA's Chiropractor of the year.  Currently, he serves on the ACA Board of Governors and on the Virginia Board of Medicine.  Locally, he serves on his county Economic Development Authority which helps work with local industry improving the local economy.  Tuck is president of Tuck Chiropractic Clinic, which is a group practice with eleven locations throughout southwest Virginia.

Steven T. Huybrecht

Staff Chiropractor, VA Palo Alto Health Care System


Dr. Steven Huybrecht was raised in northern Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Superior and earned his BS in Exercise Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He continued his education at Northwestern Health Sciences University where he earned a doctorate in chiropractic. During his time at NWHSU, Dr. Huybrecht was involved in various clubs, most notably with the Student American Chiropractic Association where he held multiple chapter roles, including president, before being elected as the National Chair for the 2013/14 term. During his last trimester at NWHSU, he moved to North Carolina and worked in physical medicine and rehabilitation at High Point Regional hospital in the inpatient rehab center under the direction of Todd Reiter, MD, DC. He’s served on the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association’s Government Affairs Committee, the American Chiropractic Association’s Membership Committee and Millennial Think Tank, along with participating in the ACA’s Leadership Apprentice and Mentor Program. Currently Dr. Huybrecht is the Integrated Clinical Practice Resident at the VA St. Louis Health Care System under program director Pamela Wakefield, DC.  He is working towards completion of the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program and board certification in chiropractic acupuncture. Dr. Huybrecht’s professional interests include chronic pain management for veterans, organizational leadership, and state and national advocacy. Personal interests include traveling, hiking, kayaking, cooking and exploring.
